Upstairs Hall

Guests arrive in the upper hall to a cozy sitting area. The couch is a cushy place to put up your feet and read against the cushions.

The bargello pillow is hand-stitched on silk gauze by Marilyn Miller of Tucson. The blue and metallic gold pillow on the right-hand side is by Wendy Smale.

I made the "antique" Victorian farmhouse dollhouse from a kit from Northeastern Scale Models.

Bedroom

On to my favorite room, the bedroom. Originally the staircase came out in this room. I boarded up the hole and put flooring in over it.

The Brodnax Prints I bought for the curtains and bed seemed to match the wallpaper perfectly.

All the furniture in this room came in the boxes of goodies except the fireplace, the standing screen (a d.Anne Ruff kit), and a Bespaq wing chair.

Note the old-fashioned rocking horse.

Pink silk pillows and blue silk pillow by Wendy Smale. (I made the striped small pillows and the neck roll.)

The doll on the bed I purchased from Debbie Young at a Bishop show in Anaheim a few years ago.

Bathroom

The next most important room in a B&B is a large, cozy bathroom.

This one needed everything purchased for it, because this room was completely unfinished.

I loved the Brodnax cherry wallpaper and think it did well in here. The linoleum floor is a piece of scrapbooking paper. Bath fixtures are commercially available and the tub is from a Chrysenbon kit.

Note how the bathtub in the picture reflects the bathtub in the room.

On a Bespaq table is a lovely vanity tray by Patsy-Mac that I bought from Mountain Miniatures.

The blue and metallic gold paisley pillow is again by Wendy Smale.

Attic

The attics aren't done, but here's a peep. The ladies finished the inside well, and I'm filling it with dollhouse jetsam.
